Thailand is a wonderful holiday destination for everyone – solo travellers, families and groups of friends.
Things to do doesn’t end just laying on the beach under the palm tree, you can spend days exploring national parks, hike through the jungle, snorkel in crystal clear water, dive into the history of glorious temples, ride endless mountain roads, shop till you drop in giant shopping malls, enjoy various food and drinks in night markets and so much more.
Despite being a super popular destination and drawing thousands of travellers from around the world, warm weather and welcoming people make Thailand a dreamy travel destination.

Language: The official language in Thailand is Thai
Currency: The currency of Thailand is the Thai Baht.
Best Time to Visit: The best time to visit Thailand is in the dry season —from November to April, temperatures are cooler (think 30°C) and you can expect picture-perfect days for outdoor activities. The only downside is that it’s also Thailand’s peak tourist season which means that flight and accommodation prices increase and the beaches will be full of people.
If you want to avoid crowds, plan your trip to Thailand between May and October. While there will be often, daily, short-lived rainstorms, you’ll be rewarded with cheaper flights and lower hotel rates.
Credit Cards and ATMs: You won’t have a problem finding ATMs and most businesses will accept credit cards in Thailand’s main cities, like Bangkok and Phuket. However, if you’re planning to go shopping at the local markets, you’ll need cash to pay for your purchases.
Safety: I think Thailand is one of the safest destinations for solo female travellers. While you still need to be aware of your surroundings, petty theft and tourist scams are usually the biggest things you need to watch out for.
